Mumtaz, an Indian film actress, was born on 31st of July in 1947 who had started her film career in the childhood as a child actor. She has worked in many low-budget movies and later was known B-grade movies, then A-grade movies in best supporting roles. Her best acting in the movie Do Raaste (1969) made her a star actress of the Indian cinema. She and Sharmila Tagore remain the highest-paid actresses of the 1970s Hindi Cinema. She has been awarded Filmfare Award for Best Actress and BFJA Award for Best Supporting Actress in Indian movies.
